Dress for Success® Houston’s annual Her Path Forward giving campaign kicks off March 1 in celebration of Women’s History Month until the end of the month, including International Women’s Day on Friday, March 8. The campaign is inspired by the belief when a woman has access to education and job resources, their contributions strengthen communities, increase organizational effectiveness, and businesses and economies grow.

Gender inequity in the workplace for women continues as they struggle to find employment that will lead to a career and an improvement in the quality of life for them and their families. This will impact our communities and society at large. By offering a woman access to career advancement, financial education, and a community, she will generate sustained improvement in all aspects of her life.

The community comes together through corporate partnerships, civic organizations, and impassioned individuals hosting professional attire drives and crowd-funding initiatives. By participating in and contributing to Her Path Forward, you not only give a woman access to programs, services, and tools that will help her achieve economic advancement, but you also join us in celebrating female leaders for the pivotal role they play in driving business and economic gains, and social and cultural change.
